Dear Parents and Families,
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support as we navigate this new territory. Several of you have reached out to me about educational resources during the closure. We have been advised by WCPSS to refrain from giving parents any instructional materials at this time. I did update the Home Practice page of this website to include some free online academic resources you can have your child do while we wait for word from WCPSS. You can also access a running database of free resources offered by educational companies here. As for your questions regarding what to expect beyond March 30th, I cannot answer them at this time. We [teachers] are currently in the same holding pattern as you. I can assure you that WCPSS leaders are working diligently to ensure that all students and families are taken care of and accounted for. As I learn new information, I will do my best to update you. In the meantime, you are welcome to check the WCPSS site dedicated to updated information regarding COVID-19. Please give your children a squeeze from me and tell them that I miss them. Hope to see you all soon, Mrs. Jules |
